The Report Cards page provides you with a financial overview of a list of stocks which originated from a screener, watchlist, portfolio, or typed in by hand. Each stock is represented as a report card, the content of which is customizable. The following list explains the structure of a report card in detail:
- title - the ticker symbol
- quote - delayed quote along with daily change; the link will take you to the quote page
- ranking image - a thumbnail giving a snapshot of the fundamental rankings; clicking on this image will take you to the fundamentals page which you last visited
- price chart - a 6 month price chart with the high price shown in green and the low price shown in red; clicking on the image will take you to the chart page
- fundamentals - provides a customizable list of stock information (in the example to the right, 'close', 'avg value', etc.); the links will take you to corresponding fundamentals or chart pages
You can change the date for which report cards are displayed by using the date chooser above the report cards. Please note that whenever you use the backtesting expert screener option, the date is automatically set to the screening date (value of the "use stock data from" field).
Customization
You have full control over contents of the report cards. Click on the "customize view" link to modify the following aspects of the report card view:
- cards per page - allows you to change the number of report cards shown per page
- show ranking image - you can hide or show the ranking thumbnail
- show price chart - you can hide or show the 6 month price chart thumbnail
- fundamentals - allows you to chose which fundamentals are shown on each report card; you may use the link on the left to quickly select or deselect all fundamentals; also note, that when viewing screener results, this selection automatically changes to include fundamental screener parameters and custom filter variables
You can select from several Stockworm views or you can create your own and save them for future use, using the 'save' or 'save as' links on the left.
Quick Links
The report card page offers quick links to:
- return to the source of the list (e.g. a watchlist, portfolio, screener, etc.)
- add all of the symbols in the current view to the watchlist of your choosing
- download a spreadsheet of financial information related to the companies in the report card view or; note, that the spreadsheet will contain the same fundamentals as displayed on the report cards
- display a 'printer-friendly' version of the page
Company info
The report card view will dynamically display basic information on each company as your mouse passes over the respective report card. This information includes the name of the company, the industry, and a brief description of the business that the company conducts.
