The profitability section of the fundamental analysis pages displays items which are indicative of the profitability and health of a business such as return on assets and profit margin. Specific data items are as follows:

  • return on assets - The last twelve month Net Income from Total Operations divided by the most recent Total Assets, expressed as a percentage.
  • return on equity - The last twelve month Net Income from Total Operations divided by the most recent quarter Common Equity, expressed as a percentage.
  • profit margin - The last twelve month Net Income from Total Operations divided by the most last twelve month Revenues, expressed as a percentage.
  • current ratio - The most recent quarter Total Current Assets divided by the most recent quarter Total Current Liabilities.
  • debt to equity - The most recent quarter Long-Term Debt divided by the most recent quarter Common Equity.
