The elder screen combines two screens: one is the long term screen and the other is the intermediate term screen. Stockworm uses an exponential moving average of the price close to determine the long term chart trend and then applies the elder-ray power screen to determine buy/sell points.

The three indicator lines are:

Go long when the long term price trend is up and the elder-ray bear is less than 0 and rising.

Go short when the long term price trend is down and the elder-ray bull is greater than 0 and falling.
