The Ease of Movement indicator demonstrates the correlation between price changes and volume. High Ease of Movement values indicate upward price changes on light volume and low Ease of Movement values indicate downward price changes on light volume. When using the Ease of Movement as a trading signal, buy when the Ease of Movement crosses above zero and sell when the Ease of Movement crosses below zero.
The Ease of Movement indicator takes two parameters as input: the first parameter is the calculation period for the Ease of Movement and the second is the period used for the EMA of the Ease of Movement.
